dartpilot ("we", "us") provides automatic dart tracking and scoring through a desktop app, a web app, and cloud boards for venues. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. Contact us at support@dartpilot.app.
What we collect
- Account data — email, name, and sign-in method (email/password, Google, GitHub, or passkey) when you create an account.
- Board & game data — boards you create or join, players, game history, and scores. For cloud boards this is stored on our servers; for local boards it stays on your network.
- Diagnostics — device, browser, OS, and error reports from our error-monitoring provider, used to find and fix issues.
Cameras
The desktop app captures dartboard images locally to detect darts. Images are processed on your device; only scores and dart positions are used, and board images are not uploaded to our servers.
How we use data
We use your data to run the service (score games, sync boards), keep accounts secure, and improve reliability. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Storage & retention
Data is stored with our hosting providers (Cloudflare). We keep it only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can delete your account and data at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (GDPR rights in the EU). Email us to exercise these rights.
